Senior HR Operations Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior HR Operations Manager to take ownership of all HR back-end operations and employee management across both local and remote teams.
This role is not recruitment-heavy. While you will support recruitment processes from an operational perspective (ATS, contracts, onboarding), the core responsibility is HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and remote workforce administration.
This position suits an experienced HR professional who prefers structure, compliance, and ownership over sourcing and high-volume recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Own and manage the full employee lifecycle for office-based and remote staff
Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, employment contracts, amendments, and documentation
Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and internal policies
Manage probation periods, role changes, promotions, and terminations
Remote Workforce Management
Manage and oversee remote employment processes using Deel or similar Employer of Record (EOR) platforms
Ensure compliance with local labor regulations for remote employees across multiple jurisdictions
Act as the internal point of contact for remote employment structures and HR-related queries
HR Systems & Processes
Own and administer Teamtailor (ATS) from a process and data perspective
Ensure HR systems, documentation, and reporting are clean, structured, and up to date
Continuously improve HR workflows and operational efficiency
Employee Relations & Internal HR Support
Act as the primary HR contact for employees regarding contracts, policies, leave, and HR-related matters
Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and HR procedures
Ensure HR matters are handled professionally, fairly, and consistently
Recruitment Support (Limited Scope)
Support recruitment activities operationally only, including:
ATS pipeline management
Interview coordination
Offer letters and contract preparation
Onboarding coordination
This role does not include candidate sourcing or ownership of hiring targets
Requirements
5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR operations and employee management
Proven experience managing remote teams and international employment structures
Hands-on experience with Deel or similar EOR platforms
Experience working with ATS systems, ideally Teamtailor
Strong understanding of employment contracts, HR compliance, and best practices
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Familiarity with Cyprus employment regulations
