CRAE GROUP is a technology company operating an enterprise platform powering digital businesses globally. Our ecosystem includes multiple operating companies across payments, software, infrastructure, and digital platforms, with headquarters in Cyprus and international operations.

We are expanding our finance team and are looking for a Senior Group Accountant to work closely with the Chief Accountant in managing the accounting and financial reporting for several companies within the group.

The role will involve managing the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of companies and working closely with auditors and external advisors across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for multiple group companies (5+ entities)
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Handle VAT submissions and tax filings where applicable
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Monitor intra-group transactions and transfer flows
• Maintain accounting for intellectual property (IP) assets and related structures
• Prepare supporting schedules and audit documentation
• Assist the Chief Accountant in group consolidation preparation
• Monitor payables, receivables and treasury movements
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting standards and international practices
• Support implementation and improvement of internal accounting processes

Payroll & Employee Accounting

• Manage group payroll processes across multiple entities
• Coordinate payroll calculations including salaries, bonuses, and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus payroll regulations, social insurance, and PAYE requirements
• Prepare and submit payroll-related filings and contributions
• Maintain payroll records and employee compensation accounting
• Coordinate with HR and management on payroll changes, new hires, and terminations
• Ensure payroll accuracy and timely payments across the group

Requirements

• 3–7+ years experience in accounting or finance
• Experience managing multiple companies or group structures
• Strong understanding of Cyprus accounting and VAT regulations
• Experience working with external auditors
• Familiarity with intellectual property accounting and asset capitalization
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting
• Experience in technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital businesses is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• ACCA / ACA / CPA qualification (or in progress) preferred
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously
